The story that started with the New York Times best seller, Fallen Too Far continues...
Rush withheld a secret that had destroyed her world. Her entire life had all been a lie. Blaire couldn't stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him. Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life...until something happened to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately? You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.

I was all over the place in anticipation for this book. I mean I searched for teasers practically every day and counted down the days for this release, but I'm sorry to admit that I was a bit disappointed by this book. It was definitely interesting and had plenty of good drama, but I found it lacking in some areas that I thought was unfortunate. My first issue is the typos. They were everywhere! Now for me, I can skim across grammar mistakes and weird paragraphing fairly easily, but in this book there were random words mashed together all over the place. It got to the point where it was just annoying and distracting. This didn't ruin the book for me, of course, but I just thought I should make note of it.
Second issue is the lack of romance. This book was packed with emotions. I mean I was laughing, on the edge of my seat, halfway crying, and aww-ing all over the place, but I didn't really feel as much of the love in this book as I did in Fallen Too Far. Rush was constantly a mess. I swear that in this entire book, he never got a break. He was either angry, depressed, worried about screwing up with Blaire, busy already screwing up with Blaine, or trying to make amends for screwing up with Blaire. All the anxiety I got from him got to be a bit much. Even the sex, while hot, was always intense and rushed. I just wanted Blaire and Rush to chill out for a second and have a sweet moment together.
Blaire said that Rush finally took her out on a couple dates. Why couldn't I read about that actually happening? I wanted a moment like that where she and Rush are talking about regular, sweet things and having a good time together. Shoot, I would have given up on one of those intense sex scenes to hear the details of one of their sweet dates. I guess I'm trying to say that with all the chaos between the couple, I would have like a romantic respite.
My third and final issue is the ending. It's actually a good ending because everything comes out into the open and the air is cleared, but I really would have liked an epilogue. I would have liked to have known if their futures turned out as well as they told each other their futures would.
Okay so moving on from the big negative stuff. I liked this book. I truly did. I could not stop reading it. It's intense and sexy and dramatic and, in some parts, cute. Rush, as stressed out as he was most of the time, was very understanding. He was intuitive with Blaire, which was refreshing. He knew what was right and wrong between them. Doing the right was just difficult sometimes. I continued to like Blaire in this book too. I only wish that she had comforted Rush a little. He was desperate to take care of her, but she did not take care of him as much when he probably needed.
Overall, there is no way I could have NOT read this book. If nothing else, it gave me the resolution I needed. I admit that Fallen Too Far set up some high expectations-maybe too high-for this book, but I certainly don't regret buying it. In my opinion Never Too Far is not as good as Fallen Too Far, but that does not make Never Too Far bad. This book focused on the old stuff that had been pushed away in the previous book, and it was entertaining. I still love Blaire and Rush.

Never Too Far (Audible Audio Edition) Abbi Glines Jennifer Bronstein Audible Studios Books Reviews
Getting into Rush's head and being able to relive Fallen Too Far from his POV was even more amazing than I thought it would be.
This book is a perfect addition to the Too Far series.
Three words for you Peanut Butter Scene.
Enough said.
Each and every time I open a book it is like Christmas, I am 6 years old, anticipating the gift that I will receive.. I never want to be disappointed, I want to feel joy for days on end.. Sadly, this book did not quite do it for me. I have read what I believe to be the entire series of Rush/Blaire books and I have to say, with each successive installment they just get... more predictable. The formula is as follows... some plot, lots of sex bad boy misbehaves, bad boy has moment of "clarity" and yeah... predictable. Disclaimer, I like stories with bad boys and I like some erotica but.. when the formula gets entirely unsurprising it just gets... boring. I think that there are some good bones to this book.. though I am not sure I will read this particular work again. I will keep an open mind to what she publishes in the future.
After listening to Fallen Too Far, I had to dive into the next book immediately, because that ending... argh! I love both Blaire and Rush, but the couldn't seem to get things right. However, everything was about to change in Never Too Far.
When Blaire returned to Sumit, she was living with Cain's Granny Q and she was struggling to find her feet again. A run in with Cain and a visit from a new friend sent Blaire back to Rosemary Beach, if only for a short while. Blaire's life becomes complicated and she realises she has friends and support in Rosemary Beach and she can't run away again.
Both Blaire and Rush needed to step up throughout Never Too Far. They belong together, but struggle to get their lives to line up. There are constant hurdles for them to over come and they really need to learn to trust one another. At times I wished Blaire wouldn't hold back and fight for what she wanted. She was a sweet girl and deserved to be loved. Rush, well he seemed to be there but he kept pushing Blaire away when she wanted to be there for him and he probably needed it most. I wish that he would follow through with what he says, and keep Blaire as his number one priority.
There were a lot of twists throughout the story which had my jaw hitting the floor! Just when I thought I had their stories straight, confessions and truths turned everything upside down once again. I love how Abbi Glines always keeps me in the dark about where the story is heading and I have no idea until the twist hits me! I've continued to enjoyed the narration by Jennifer Bronstein as well. Her easy story telling and switching between characters has kept me engrossed in the story. I look forward to finishing Rush & Blaire's story with Forever Too Far.
I was so glad to finally get Rush's POV. It was so worth the wait. Just so everyone understands, Rush Too Far is Fallen Too Far retold in Rush's POV - not new material, so please don't go into it expecting otherwise, and then leave a bad review because of it. After reading this book, you get a better understanding of why Rush was determined to try to help Nan get the father that she never had in her life, and being inside his head made me love him even more. If you're a fan of this series, you definitely need to read this book.
My rush crush went from 100 to 200!!! I was soooooooo anticipated for this I stopped reading another book for this one. I just couldn't wait. I was pissed that was last for it to be available btw!!!!..... I freakin looooove rush!!! Nan should be choked!!! And I hope abbi does write a book three. This was so good I read it in a couple of hours. Though it did seem a bit shorter. After Blair's world was torn apart in book one it only got worst in book two..... as always I don't wanna give away spoilers But there is drama, of course, lies, sex and lots of looooove lol Oh and I'm loving piercings in certain places now Wellll at least on Rush!! ;) A five Star rush
